Write Anyway Workshops

Creative writing workshops for curious minds.

Write Anyway is a welcoming creative writing workshop designed to help people rediscover the joy of writing without pressure or perfection. Through guided prompts, short exercises, and supportive discussion, participants explore storytelling, voice, memory, and imagination in a relaxed and encouraging environment.

The philosophy behind the workshops is simple: writing doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful. Sometimes the most interesting ideas appear when we simply allow ourselves to write.

Each session introduces creative prompts and techniques that help participants experiment with new ways of approaching stories, characters, and personal narratives. The focus is on curiosity, exploration, and developing confidence on the page.

Who the workshops are for

Write Anyway workshops are open to writers aged 16+ at any level of experience. You might join if you:

• want to start writing but don’t know where to begin
• used to write and want to reconnect with it
• enjoy storytelling and creative ideas
• want a supportive space to explore your voice

No previous writing experience is required — just curiosity and a willingness to try.

What to expect

Each workshop session includes:

• guided writing prompts
• short creative exercises
• opportunities to experiment with different styles and forms
• optional sharing in a supportive environment

Participants are encouraged to explore ideas freely and follow their curiosity. Sharing writing is always optional.

About the facilitator

The workshops are facilitated by Natashia Gravett, a writer currently completing an MA in Creative Writing. Her work explores memory, identity, and imaginative storytelling, and she is passionate about helping others discover their own creative voice.
